The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but that by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow to identify users. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Site, the addresses in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the required resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (good end, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the computer environment of the user. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical (aggregate) information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning and are kept for the time defined by the relevant legal regulations. The data may be used to ascertain liability in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site.
We collect personal data by means of technological elements such as cookies, when you visit our Site. Please see the Cookie Policy for more information, including how to disable cookies.
Purpose of the data processing
Access and navigation of the Site are free, but the possibility of using some online services available on the Site (e.g. the possibility of buying an item) is allowed only after registration of the user. The registration process consists of filling out an online form in which the user is required to indicate his personal data - some to be entered compulsorily - for the activation of authentication credentials (email + password) with which the data subject will subsequently access all areas and services of the Site reserved for registered users. So, first of all, the primary purposes of the processing are represented by the need to allow the fulfillment of the required procedures of prior online registration and the creation of an account and to allow the managers of the Site the generation and subsequent technical management and administrative (including the purpose of providing technical and commercial support and assistance on request) account, activation codes, passwords and similar authentication credentials to be used on the Site as created by users as part of the registration process.
Registered users, once authenticated to the Site, are then entitled to use all the services made available online on the Site. These services are divided into the following areas and are available according to the separate contractual conditions available on the Site.
Therefore, the processing of personal data (including their registration in the personal data of Bee1) is directed to the achievement of the following primary purposes:
a) to ensure registration on the Site, to allow the user to access some of the Site’s web pages where it is possible to use the specific online services, to ensure the correct provision of the services requested through the Site, and, therefore, to fulfil correctly and punctually all obligations arising from the contractual relationship established, as well as obligations arising from the law or regulations in force, in particular, in the field of taxation, as well as public security;
b) for administrative and accounting purposes, including the possible transmission by e-mail of commercial invoices by Bee1 and/or related companies in the provision of the service, to send communications to you regarding your account or transactions with Bee1;
c) Finally, among the primary purposes there are also certain technical treatments carried out by means of so-called "technical cookies" according to the details explained in the Cookie Policy. In these specific cases, the technical processing is only aimed at carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network to the extent strictly necessary to provide the services explicitly requested by users.
In all the cases described above in points a), b) and c), Bee1 is under no obligation to obtain your specific consent. All the above treatments pursue primary purposes for which art. 24 of the Privacy Code excludes the need to acquire a specific consent of the data subject, either because the processing is necessary to comply with an obligation laid down by law, a regulation or Community legislation, or because the processing is necessary to perform obligations arising from a contract to which the data subject is a party, or to fulfill, before the conclusion of the contract, specific requests of the data subject.
If the user does not intend to provide the personal data required and necessary on the basis of the above, the consequence would be that of the impossibility of proceeding to the registration to the Site and to use all the services for which the registration and the conferment of the data are in any case technically and contractually necessary (e.g. the possibility of purchasing an item).
It would still be possible to browse the Site as an unregistered and anonymous user and view only the contents and materials available without registration.
In compliance with the Privacy Code and the user’s choices, the data may also be processed for the following secondary purposes.
d) for the registration to the mailing lists held by Bee1, the sending of advertising material and information on the products and services offered, solicitations to purchase by means of automated systems such as e-mail or by phone with operator (hereinafter collectively "Processing for Mareketing purposes");
e) for the elaboration of the commercial profile of the customer (through the detection of consumption habits), aimed at monitoring the degree of customer satisfaction to ensure a better satisfaction of the needs of the same, sending information and/or advertising material of specific interest to the customer, by means of automated systems, such as e-mail, fax, sms or MMS, or by post.
In all the cases described above in points d) and e) data may be processed only in the event of the provision of specific consent. Failure to provide consent will be a denial.
By providing the optional consent, the data subject specifically acknowledges and authorises such further possible processing. In any case, even if the data subject has consented to pursue the purposes mentioned in points d) and e), he will still be free to revoke it at any time, by sending a clear communication to Bee1 at the email/address info@bee1.it or through the dedicated links included in each newsletter sent.
Any refusal will not entail any consequences except the impossibility of being included in statistical analysis and/or profiling and receive promotions, discounts and targeted communications, based on the data provided, or to be informed about any marketing and advertising initiatives. Therefore, for such additional purposes the processing will take place exclusively according to the purposes and on the basis of the specific consent given by the interested party when registering with the Site.
Important: It is reiterated that the primary and essential component in the purposes of use of personal data is the provision of the purchase and sale service in ways appropriate for quality and efficiency. This also includes a fast and effective service, which requires to have data that can facilitate customer care activities both with the customer and in the relationship with suppliers (e.g. couriers in case of failures, communications related to specific deliveries, etc.).
Methods of data processing
The processing of personal data will be mainly carried out with the help of electronic or automated means, in accordance with the methods and with the instruments suitable to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data, in accordance with the provisions of D. Lgs. 196/2003. In particular, all the technical, informatics, organizational, logistic and procedural security measures will be adopted, as provided by D. Lgs. 196/2003, so that the minimum level of data protection provided by law is guaranteed, allowing access only to persons in charge of processing by the Data Controller or Data Processors designated by the Data Controller.
Data retention methods and usage times
The data collected through the Site are stored within digital environments:
protected by unique passwords for each member of Team Bee1
subject to periodic encryption
monitored with log detection to ensure useful information should it become necessary
The data collected through third-party platforms are:
protected by unique passwords for each member of Team Bee1
We also change the access passwords periodically for security reasons, as well as to carry out a quarterly internal audit to verify that there are no anomalies or news relating to the data collected that require the integration of this Privacy Policy and internal documents related to the GDPR.
Both for the purposes of buying and selling (e.g. dialogue with the Courier) and for the purposes of assistance, Bee1 intends to store the data collected and stored for an undefined period. The basis for this is the need - proven in the years of operation - to be able to draw on the history of each user/ customer and his purchases for:
Being able to provide an efficient and useful service
Go back and identify any misunderstandings during the purchase
Demonstrate any misunderstandings or evidence of specific issues that have led to issues of any kind
Have material that can be requested by the suppliers of the products (e.g. Nike, adidas, etc.) regarding defective batches, returns due to product malfunctions, specific article withdrawals, product traceability, etc
For the purposes of online marketing and advertising, Bee1 intends to store the data collected for the duration that the platforms used allow.
The basis for this is the need - given the statistical nature of this activity - to collect and cross-check as many aggregated (and therefore anonymous) data as possible possible in order to improve the quality of promotion activities both in terms of sales and in view of appreciation and interest by users/ customers for the proposed content.
